Location Management

The LOCATION MANAGEMENT option enables you to select which locations are displayed on the map.

Selecting the option from the menu will open a list of location options that can be selected to display on the map. Check the boxes of those you wish to be added.

The Location Management option has been divided into 2 sub sections: Selected Locations and Unselected Locations. Any selected locations will be moved to Selected Locations sub section.

Sea/net is able to handle multiple polygon locations for a selected area e.g. North America ECA (active).

Overlapping Polygons

If polygons are overlapping, by selecting the area a pop up will appear from which the user can select the zone they are interested in.

New Location Filter option available. To create one click on "New Location Filter" as shown below:

In this window you are able to select the criteria relevant to the specified filter.

For example, to create a location filter showing all ports that Export Iron Ore, select the criteria as below:

Clicking "Save & Apply Filter to Map" will save the Location Filter for future use and "Apply Filter to Map" will only temporarily apply the filter on the map.

To clone a criteria click on the "copy" icon:

To add multiple criteria you can also click on "New Criteria" on the bottom left of the window.

The Saved Location Filters are available in the "Saved" tab if the Location Filter window:

Notifications can be created for custom created Location filters by selecting the 3 dot icon next to the filter and 'Add notification' from the drop down.

They can also be created directly in Notification Management under 'Saved Location Filter Callings'

When creating in the Location Filter, the process remains the same as regular notifications from this point. Simply select the type of notification then hit Next.

This will direct you to Step 3 in the Notifications Management section where the process remains the same.

To create a custom location, navigate to the Location Filter and select New Location below. This will bring you to create a custom location

From the pop up, provide a name and a type if necessary and hit create.

Toggle to on "Generate Callings"

You can then outline the area you want for the new location by clicking the outer corners and joining them together.

Note that if you do not link the edges, the location cannot be created.

Select Finish Selection once complete. The location can then be used/treated the same as any other i.e notifications, history etc.

You can still edit the details of the custom location after.

To Delete a custom location:

1. Select location summary,

2. Select the location you want to delete; a new icon will pop out (Location info)

3. Click on the recycle bin

Click yes to delete the custom location
